چکیده

We present a new millimeter survey of 23 pre-main−sequence stars in the Taurus-Auriga star forming region. The main goal of the project was to identify circumstellar disks around stars of late spectral types (M∗ . 0.7 M⊙). We used the IRAM Plateau de Bure Interferometer to obtain observations at 1.3mm, 2.7mm, and the CO J=1-0 and J=2-1 lines. We detected eight sources in continuum emission, with new detections of CIDA-1 and CIDA-8 at 1.3mm. Overall, we find that circumstellar disks around stars with spectral types later than M2 tend to have smaller millimeter continuum fluxes than those around earlier type stars. We also present four detections of disks in their CO line emission (LkHα 358, GO Tau, Haro 6-13, IRAS 04385+2550). By mapping the rotation of the resolved CO emission from the circumstellar disks, we obtain estimates of the dynamical mass of the central stars. Subject headings: circumstellar matter — radio lines: stars — radio continuum: stars — stars: pre–main sequence — stars: fundamental parameters

A search for extended disks around weak-lined T Tauri stars

We present the results of a search for dust and gas emission around T Tauri stars in the Taurus-Auriga region, conducted with the IRAM interferometer in CO, HCO+ and the adjacent continua at 1.3 and 3.4 mm. We studied a sample of young stars with and without the near-infrared spectral signature of disks, to learn whether young stars with little or no evidence of inner accretion disks are surrou...

We report results of a sensitive search for cold dust and molecular gas in the disks around 8 T Tauri stars in the high-latitude cloud MBM 12. Interferometric observations of 3 mm continuum emission in 5 fields containing 6 of the objects, and literature values for the remaining two, limit the disk masses to Mdisk < 0.04–0.09 M⊙ (gas+dust), for a gas:dust mass ratio of 100 and a distance of 275...

Brown Dwarf Disks With

We present ALMA continuum and spectral line data at 0.89 mm and 3.2 mm for three disks surrounding young brown dwarfs and very low mass stars in the Taurus star forming region. Dust thermal emission is detected and spatially resolved for all the three disks, while CO(J = 3 − 2) emission is seen in two disks. We analyze the continuum visibilities and constrain the disks physical structure in dus...

Extended Near-infrared Emission from Candidate Protostars in the Taurus-auriga Molecular Cloud

We describe near-IR imaging data for a sample of 23 Class I sources in the Taurus-Auriga dark clouds. Combining our data with previous photometry, we detect brightness variations of 0.1–0.5 mag in many sources. The near-IR morphologies are consistent with millimeter continuum measurements. Most ( 60%) of the sample are true protostars; the rest may be objects in transition between Class I and C...

Debris Disks in the Scorpius–centaurus Ob Association Resolved by Alma

We present a CO(2-1) and 1240μm continuum survey of 23 debris disks with spectral types B9-G1, observed at an angular resolution of 0. ′′5-1” with the Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Array (ALMA). The sample was selected for large infrared excess and age ∼10 Myr, to characterize the prevalence of molecular gas emission in young debris disks. We identify three CO-rich debris disks, plus t...
